COMPARISON IS A THIEF

I’ve often heard it said that comparison is the thief of joy. It steals your ability to focus on all you have to offer because your focus is on what another person has and what you feel as though you lack. Your mind goes down a rabbit hole of self-doubt and you are no longer able to enjoy all that you have to offer.

Sure its fine to admire other women. Her looks, hair, personality, drive, success, etc. And we should most certainly compliment one another when we see something within her, on her or about her that we admire. But, the slippery slope begins when we start wishing we were her and comparing. Having certain aspects that you would like to aspire to is great. But thinking or feeling as if you are not worthy and comparing yourself negatively affects your self-esteem.

GOD has given us each exactly what we need in order to accomplish our goals. If it was something else you needed then God would have already given to you. Embrace who you are knowing that you are perfect just the way you are. Walk in every room head held high, confident and let your very presence light up the room!
